As Israel's military kills the innocent, Anita Anand does nothing.
How to stall until it's too late.

On May 19th, Canada, Britain, and France made a joint statement claiming that finally, after nineteen months of inaction, they will take “concrete actions” if Israel does not cease the military offensive in Gaza, and lift all restrictions on humanitarian aid.
For context, the United Nations chief official for humanitarian affairs and emergency relief warned that 14,000 babies are at risk of starvation within 48 hours if Israel continues to restrict aid, which they are still doing as of this publication…roughly 48 hours after he made that statement.
Let us be frank: The starvation of an entire people is an act of genocide. The forced relocation of an entire people is an act of genocide. Israel is not “at risk” of perpetuating a genocide, they are already doing so.
Canada’s promises of taking action ultimately mean nothing; they are merely making empty threats, same as they have before. At least Britain, for their part, has suspended trade talks with Israel after Israeli cabinet ministers made genocidal calls to “purify Gaza”.
And that’s still not enough, but it’s something material, and combined with a similar move to review trade with Israel in the European Union, it will create a significant economic drop for Israel.
But Canada? Canada is actually poised to do nothing. And indeed, “nothing” is exactly what Anita Anand was hired by Mark Carney and Marco Mendicino to do.
Before Anita Anand shared the tri-national statement released by her Prime Minister and his counterparts, she buried the lede. In her tweet, and in 2025 we seem to unironically conduct diplomacy through Twitter now, she made explicit demands of Hamas, but made no mention of Israel.
Hamas is actively commanded to do X, Y, and Z, but Israel is not called upon directly to do anything. Goals like a “ceasefire” and “humanitarian aid” are simply aspirational, rather than being directed to Israel.
Yes, Hamas should release the remaining hostages, but Israel’s government has made it clear they plan to forcibly remove millions of Palestinians, to facilitate, and this is an exact quote, “the conquest of the Gaza Strip”. This is a genocidal campaign, and Israel’s government has abandoned the pretext of trying to save the remaining hostages.
In a recording released by Mohamad Fakih, Executive Chair of Paramount Fine Foods, Order of Canada inductee, and former Liberal supporter and donor, Anita Anand said during the 2025 federal election that she did not sign the Vote Palestine campaign pledge, as fellow Liberal cabinet members did, because she is concerned about “antisemitism”.
If the Minister of Foreign Affairs, who is not a Jew, has the fucking audacity to say that support for Palestinians is “antisemitic”, then we are well and truly fucked. Who does this goy think she is to try and stir shit between Jews and Palestinians? What she espoused, the idea that support for Palestine is an attack on Jews, is a violently racist slander.
It should be clear by now that Anita Anand was not put in this position by Mark Carney and Marco Mendicino because they wanted to help Palestinians. She was put there to make sure Canada stalls on acting against Israel, until it’s too late.
In an extreme escalation, Israel’s response to Canada’s statement went beyond the typical verbal castigations by Israel’s government and pro-Israel Canadian media.
During a multinational diplomatic mission in the West Bank, hosted by the Palestinian Authority and featuring 25 diplomats representing 31 countries, despite full approval by the Israeli military, IDF soldiers fired guns at the delegation.
Both Britain, France, and other European ministers participating in the mission have immediately summoned the Israeli ambassadors to their countries, demanding explanations for what I would charitably call an act of war against 31 different countries.
A Canadian diplomat was also on this mission. Israel tried to murder a Canadian diplomat, part of a multinational delegation that Israel lied to in order to lure them into danger. So, what have Anita Anand and Mark Carney had to say about this?
Nothing. Crickets. In the very first piece published in mainstream Canadian media, by CP24, Global Affairs Canada has not provided any statement. While other countries are acting immediately after Israel threatened their diplomats, Canada is doing nothing.
I remember over a year ago, when I wrote about how Israel murdered a Canadian working for World Central Kitchen, and the Trudeau government did nothing. Now, we have a new Prime Minister, who is still resoundingly behind the path of doing nothing.
Canada’s “statement” with Britain and France is meaningless. Israel can murder whoever they want, and Canada has no political will to impose meaningful consequences.
If we were a real country, we would be landing troops in Gaza immediately, to forcibly end Israel’s military occupation and protect the Palestinian people from the genocidal extermination campaign that seeks to erase them.
But Canada isn’t going to do that. Canada’s government is going to sit and twiddle their thumbs until they know it’s too late to save anyone. Whether it’s Mark Carney or Marco Mendicino or Anita Anand, the goal is the same: stall.
Stall until nothing can be done. Stall until everyone is dead. Stall until their complicity is lost to time, and nobody can hold them responsible.
It is demoralizing, but we are not allowed to be demoralized. There is too much at stake for the Palestinian people if we stop fighting. So there is one job we must persist in.
We must push. Push Mark Carney, push Anita Anand, push and push and push by every means available to you. Become the squeaky wheel, and do not allow yourself to be greased. Push until they have no choice but to act, and then push again to make them to even more.
The Canadian government will do the minimum required to satisfy public sentiment. The more you push, the more they will need to do.
So keep pushing, and don’t stop until Canada is where we need to be.
It is shocking how many Zionist fan boys and girls have infiltrated the Canadian media and political landscapes. We need to call this what it is. Genocide on an unprecedented level. It is reminiscent of the Do nothings when Jews were being displaced and murdered in WW2. “antisemitism “ has been shrewdly and cynically exploited to silence outrage at this indefensible eradication of a people. Shame on all politicians who hide behind antisemitic coercion
First of all I voted for Carney, but it doesn’t mean I won’t ask him to do something about the worst slaughter of children in modern history. He CAN do something starting with stopping the sending of propellants and military aid to Israel, sanctions on Israel, and ensuring Aid gets to Palestinian people through military assistance. If Canada does this other countries will follow suit. At this point he is doing nothing actually, except for firm words to Netanyahu who everyone knows will not listen! Why should he, USA supports the ethnic cleansing of Palestine.
