This afternoon, the Ontario Liberal Annual General Meeting begins, and Liberal delegates will vote for a new executive, and also decide whether Bonnie Crombie remains leader of their party!
Crombie’s main opposition faction, the New Leaf Liberals, hosted their final event prior to the AGM at a pub last night, in Downtown Toronto just blocks away from the Sheraton Centre.
I bring you two short interviews from last night’s New Leaf event with candidates for the Ontario Liberal Executive Council: Noah Parker, a previous guest who is now running for Regional VP in Etobicoke/Downtown/East York on the central executive, and Jennifer Alexander, who is running for a Regional VP spot in the same region, but on the Ontario Women’s Liberal Commission.
Then, for two headline topics of the week, our national story involves a pending federal bubble-zone bylaw that would limit the right to protest, and our local story involves the tragic death of an 18-month-old boy in Richmond Hill after a driver rammed an SUV through the window of a daycare. Listen in.
