The United States is a terrorist entity that threatens the safety of the globe
These Yankee demons must face resistance, or we are doomed.

God damn the United States, for they have unleashed terror upon the world once more. Claiming the “Monroe Doctrine” as his divine mandate to colonize the entire Western Hemisphere, Donald Trump’s regime launched a military invasion of Venezuela’s capital Caracas early this morning, landing on the ground in order to take hostage President Nicolás Maduro and his wife Cilia Flores, and abducting them back to the United States.
Trump’s officials are now claiming that he and his wife will be criminally charged in New York, and that this was an “arrest” operation, a ludicrous assertion for invading a foreign nation and kidnapping their head of state and their spouse. Several military bases in Venezuela have been destroyed, and citizens of Venezuela have been witnessed fleeing into neighbouring Colombia.
Furthermore, Donald Trump is now claiming that the United States is “going to run” Venezuela, replacing the Maduro government with a puppet regime, in order to take Venezuela’s oil reserves for the profit of private companies in the United States. And ominously, Secretary of State Marco Rubio has said regarding Cuba that “if I lived in Havana, and I was in the government, I’d be concerned” seeing his government’s military invasion of Venezuela.
So, to summarize: The United States has invaded a country in the Western Hemisphere on the basis of the Monroe Doctrine, explicitly stating that they will be instituting a puppet regime to steal their oil, and declaring to other anti-U.S. governments in the Americas that they should also be “concerned” about similar things happening if they don’t submit themselves to Yankee hegemony.
The United States is a terrorist entity. Their mere existence threatens the safety of the globe. They see only themselves as sovereign, and everyone else as either a willing client state that can be included as part of the imperial core, or an insurgent state which needs a puppet regime forcibly administered through military occupation. It is easily apparent to me why Iran would regard such an imperial power as the Great Satan!
And indeed, witness how the client states flock around the United States! Kaja Kallas, the European Union’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Vice-President of the European Commission, said merely that Maduro “lacks legitimacy” and that the EU simply calls for restraint and a peaceful transition of power. This is effectively a tacit approval of forced regime change!
But what of Canada? Surely, with the United States threatening our own sovereignty, we would condemn this, yes? Haha, nope! Foreign Affairs Minister Anita Anand made a prolonged statement about how the Canadian government does not recognize Maduro, while Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre outright celebrated the invasion, remarking “Down with socialism. Long live freedom.” This is essentially a threat to democratic socialists in Canada, saying that he hopes the United States invades to take care of them as well.
We Canadians make false pretensions about not wanting to be the 51st State, but it does appear obvious how Trump would consider that a compliment, considering we already do everything they want! Clearly, Mark Carney and Anita Anand are deathly afraid of being the next foreign politicians kidnapped by Trump if they don’t fall in line with his pronouncements. The elbows have indeed been down for quite some time!
With both the Liberals and the Conservatives supporting Yankee hegemony, wishing to integrate themselves further and further into the United States in the hopes of elevating themselves to the status of full imperial citizenship, the only political opposition to the invasion of Venezuela comes from the NDP and the Bloc.
But with all credit to Don Davies and Yves-François Blanchet, they’re both politically irrelevant. Neither of their parties control enough of the House of Commons to influence anything; the former is an interim leader holding space until the leadership contest is done, and the latter is in the twilight of his political relevance and hasn’t realized it yet.
The United States is very clear, they want us to bow willingly, and they’ll use force if we don’t. And that threat has worked; in our dominant two-party system, both the Liberals and Conservatives have built consensus around the fact that Canada should become the 51st State.
But Canadians have a responsibility to fight against Yankee imperialism, even if our government seeks to aid it, and even if the Yankee empire guarantees we will be punished for opposing them. We don’t get to sit in our comfort when each of us has the power to perpetuate acts of resistance against the United States.
We need to resist, because the occupation is already here. We are already a client state of the United States, and we think that having the freedom to smoke cannabis makes us more independent than we are. We have chosen to become part of the imperial core, and that means that unless we resist, we are all complicit.
So resist now, before you become complicit in even more.
