To appease America, Canada tells refugees that "one is too many."
We are now collaborating with the American entity.

Minister of Public Safety Gary Anandasangaree has a mission: He wants to make America happy. Despite repeated threats from Yankee dogs to annex us against our will, Minister Anandasangaree called the American entity Canada’s “closest partner” in today’s press conference.
Currently, America has placed tariffs on many of Canada’s products, which is making Mark Carney unhappy. Mark Carney isn’t very concerned about having elbow’s up, but he’s extremely concerned with protecting the wealthy and resuming the flow of money across the border.
So Prime Minister Carney and Minister Anandasangaree have worked on an appeasement strategy, Bill C-2, and given it a Trump-friendly name, the Strong Borders Act.
This ominous omnibus legislation will change many parts of the Canadian border. It will deepen law enforcement ties and intelligence sharing with the United States at a time when Canadians are begging to distance ourselves.
But the most sickening part of this Trump Appeasement Plan is how it targets refugees. As ICE agents ravage America hunting down minorities and throwing them into concentration camps, Canada chooses the path of the collaborator, and our hands will be stained with blood.
Currently, the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act as last amended in 2024 sets out ineligibility criteria for refugee claimants under Subsection 101(1). These are reasonable, and fully compliant with Canada’s legal obligations under the 1951 Refugee Convention and 1967 Protocol Relating to the Status of Refugees.
For example, a claim is ineligible to be referred if refugee protection has already been conferred upon the claimant, or a claim has already been processed and rejected. A claim per person, judged with an appropriate appeals process, very reasonable.
Refugee claims are also ineligible if you have already made a refugee claim in another country before Canada. Those who themselves have violated human rights or engaged in serious criminal acts can be rejected as well. All of this is compliant with international law, and makes sense to ensure fairness while serving the ultimate goal of protecting vulnerable people.
But the proposal in Bill C-2 will change Subsection 101(1), and include two new criteria to disqualify refugees. And both of these criteria are blatantly in violation of Canada’s obligations under international law. But the Carney government has decided that refugees and immigrants are sufficiently vilified now that they can get away with it in the court of public opinion.
In Part 9 of Bill C-2, Minister Anandasangaree amends Subsection 101(1) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act to include the following:
(b.1) the claimant entered Canada after June 24, 2020 and made the claim more than one year after the day of their entry;
(b.2) the claimant entered Canada at a location along the Canada–United States land border — including the waters along or across that border — that is not a port of entry and made the claim after the end of the time limit referred to in subsection 159.4(1.1) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations;
The government is clearly stating that they will not accept refugees from the United States, despite a growing network of concentration camps to which various minorities are being kidnapped.
Carney, like Trudeau before him, hides behind the so-called “Safe Third Country Agreement”, a deal with the devil by which Canada refuses to admit what we can all see America doing with our own eyes.
Under Article 8 of the 1951 Refugee Convention, Canada may not discriminate against refugees on the basis of their nationality. They cannot unilaterally declare that Americans are unable to be refugees.
Further, under Article 31 of the same convention, Canada may not impose penalties on refugees who enter at irregular crossings as long as the refugees present themselves to authorities without delay on the Canadian side of the border.
But most absurd is the concept that if you are making your claim more than a year after entering the country, it must be invalid. This collapses upon a moment of thought, as you realize just how easily someone here on a temporary visa can easily no longer have a safe country to return home to.
For example, I am a Jew, from a family of Holocaust survivors. If a German Jew was working outside the country on business for over a year, only to gain news that Hitler had passed the Nuremberg laws revoking his citizenship and that he no longer could return home, this kind of law would invalidate his refugee claim!
And I use the example of the Holocaust intentionally, because Canada will live in infamy for when we turned away the MS St. Louis, a ship carrying hundreds of Jewish refugees, many of whom were rounded up and killed by the Nazis after our rejection.
The quote “one is too many” is one of the most vile instances of bigotry in human history. But what is even more vile is how our country had the audacity to “apologize” for the MS St. Louis, when time and time again we thump our chests like apes and scream “one is too many” louder and louder, until the thrum of the hatred causes our ears to bleed.
I am ashamed of my country, and how we vent our cruelty upon refugees of all people. I am ashamed of the hatred we bear for the weakest and most vulnerable of us.
The price of the tariffs is the price we have placed on the lives of the refugees who will die as a result of the Carney government’s decision to appease Trump, to put the elbow’s down, to bow before America.
Canada should be a real country. But we are choosing to be nothing more than collaborators.
Canada, a country usurped by powerful diaspora groups and transnational corporations.....look at the lobbying records.
The egregious treatment of refugees,foreign students and temporary foreign workers compared with the treatment of Ukrainian refugees is tantamount to racism writ large.
Outrageous when Canada co engineered the illegal coup in Ukraine that started the continuing bloodbath.
Support for genocidal Zionist Israel by Canada being the sole source of propellant for Mercova tank shells makes all Canadians complicit in mass murder genocide.
Ashamed to be Canadian. A vote means nothing!
This is terrifying. Even if this doesn’t go through, I’m probably cooked. I have to assume my claim won’t go through since they’re intent on not taking claims like mine seriously.
